Once we've agreed on the terms of working together and gathered the necessary information, we hold our meeting on Zoom or Telegram at a set time.
The main goal is not only to solve the problem but also to find its root cause. We'll define the direction of our work and select methods and techniques that feel comfortable for you.
The best results come from your own motivation, following recommendations in a timely way, and meeting consistently.
There's no single answer — every client has a unique request. Some reach out as soon as discomfort appears, while others ignore a problem for years; in the latter case, the work will take more time.
It all depends on the complexity of the request. For a brief clarification, one meeting is sometimes enough. For deep change, working through the causes, and consolidating the result, several consultations are usually needed.
Yes, it is. Every psychologist works in their own way, using different methods. It's possible the previous approach simply didn't suit you, or there wasn't a comfortable connection. It's important to find someone who can help you specifically.
No. The format doesn't determine effectiveness — it all depends on which way of communicating is more comfortable for a particular person.
That won't happen. A psychologist doesn't judge but analyzes the motives and causes of a situation in order to help you resolve it. In the same way, a mechanic doesn't condemn a broken car but looks for how to fix it.
A friend doesn't guarantee confidentiality, and your feelings could become a vulnerability.
She doesn't have professional knowledge — the conversation will bring temporary relief, but the situation will remain.
Advice may be ineffective or even harmful.
Emotional support matters, but without professional intervention the problem will keep affecting your life.
Yes, every psychologist has a specialization. I don't work with: addictions (alcohol, drug, pornography addiction); mental disorders (schizophrenia, depression, dissociative disorder); eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating); the topic of grief and loss; suicidal thoughts/plans; oncological and other serious physical diagnoses; help for children, teenagers, and the elderly.
I use at least 5 approaches (CBT, transactional analysis, NLP, positive psychotherapy, emotion-focused imagery therapy, etc.). A method is only a tool that helps the client overcome difficulties; the choice depends on your request.
